The Boiler Room is Denton, Texas' premiere live music and event venue (at least we think so), so it needed a site that would demonstrate what it had to offer. Of course they picked BrownCo to help them develop their web site! They were on a budget, and since we have a tendency to work with small/local businesses and their budgets, we accomodated and got straight to work.
To begin with, we knew that The Boiler Room had a web content guy who was going to maintain their site for them. We checked it out, and decided that the fella had the chops to maintain an advanced XHTML/CSS site; so, we got down to business and built a beautiful web site around a static events calendar for the main page and a table-like calendar of live music performances for their actual "Calendar" page. We're quite impressed with how well they've maintained it!
Last but not least, we set up a simple row-based image gallery so they could post cool shots of what the nightlife is like on any given night at The Boiler Room. Check it out! Pretty cool!
